Yard Act, a British indie rock band, is performing at the music venue Black Cat on October 13. In July, they released 100% Endurance (Elton John Version), in which a recut version of a single off The Overload, their debut album, was released in collaboration with Elton John, a self-proclaimed fan of the band, as well as Yard Act’s cover of Tiny Dancer. Making music since 2019, Yard Act released a string of singles and an EP, Dark Days, before the 2022 release of The Overload. Having amassed roughly 272,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and only playing 9 shows in the United States on their current tour, their D.C. show is bound to be exciting. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
