Sun June is taking the stage at Songbyrd on February 19th and love is in the air! Fresh off the release of the expanded version of their sophomore album Somewhere, the “regret pop” quintet has embarked on a winter tour across the US. Their layered second record shifts away from the twangy pining on Years as lead vocalists Laura Colwell and Stephen Salisbury examine their loving relationship amidst grief and addiction recovery. Without fully shaking their Austin roots, the sound is fuller with dreamy guitar hooks and their smoothest grooves yet. Saturday night is sure to be full of dancing and romancing.
