Snakehips is about to blow up the music industry.

The London-based duo is becoming exponentially more popular as music lovers discover their retro, yet innovative sound. They have been topping charts on Hype Machine since their first release, a remix of “It’s Too Late” by Wild Belle. Since then, they’ve joined high quality artists including A$AP Mob, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Shakira, as a part of RCA Records. Snakehips has released one EP and toured all over the USA, Europe, and Australia.  Lucky for us, they’re coming to DC’s very own 930 club this Friday.

Is slow-house a thing because if so, Snakehips has it down pat. Their music manages to blend elements of house and soul, with a warmth that is not to be lost on the dance floor. Their remixes are amazing. Their original songs are amazing. This is a show you cannot miss.
