Indie rock band Bright Eyes is scheduled to perform at The Anthem in Washington D.C. on Saturday, April 9th. The concert will be part of the tour in support of their 2020 album, Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was. The Omaha group fronted by Conor Oberst is known for their gut-wrenching lyricism, signature folksy sound, and compelling vocals. Whether it’s newer songs like “Persona Non Grata” or classics like “First Day of My Life” Bright Eyes’ impact on the indie music scene is undeniable. LA-based musician Christian Lee Hutson is set to open the show.
