Del Water Gap at Black Cat, 3/12

BY EMILY LAMB//

Del Water Gap, the solo project of songwriter and producer S. Holden Jaffe, will be performing for one night only at Black Cat on March 12th at 8:00pm. Jaffe, a former college bandmate of indie star Maggie Rogers, released his first self-titled studio album in October of 2021. Inspired by “romantic encounters and dimly lit rooms,” Del Water Gap was launched into newfound popularity after actresses Margaret Qualley and Kaitlyn Devers had a virtual dance party to his song, “Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat,” during the pandemic.

Del Water Gap will be touring around the United States throughout March, before going internationally to support Girl in Red during the European leg of her world tour. Del Water Gap will be supported by Taylor Jenzen in Washington, D.C.
