Mt. Joy and Trampled by Turtles at The Anthem, 10/08

On Friday, October 8th, Mt. Joy will perform, alongside Trampled by Turtles, at The Anthem, opened by Trampled By Turtles. 

Mt. Joy is a five-piece indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of members Matt Quinn, Sam Cooper, Sotiris Eliopoulos, Jackie Miclau, and Michael Byrnes. 

Following the success of their first single “Astrovan,” and then second single “Sheep,” Mt. Joy was signed to Dualtone Records in 2017. Their debut album, Mt. Joy, was released on March 2, 2018 and the song “Silver Lining” went to #1 on the Billboard Triple A charts. 

While Mt. Joy only released their first single in 2016, the band toured with Rainbow Kitten Surprise in January and February 2019, then performed their own headlining tour in March and April 2019. The band then toured with The Lumineers in January, February, and March 2020, but the tour was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thus, Mt. Joy’s Fall 2021 tour is its first after the pandemic. 

Since Mt. Joy’s last tour, the band released its’ second album Rearrange Us on June 5, 2020 which will be played alongside Mt. Joy at The Anthem on October 8th. Doors open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets can be found here.
