Harris Face and The Restoration CD Release Party and Performance at The Dunes

Hey all!

Remember a few months ago when we featured Harris Face and The Restoration’s single, “The Squall”? They’re a D.C. band with GWU alums? Ringing a bell? Well, they’re back in action and with a brand-spankin’-new debut EP called Hopeful Paranoia!  To celebrate, they’ll be performing at The Dunes, a multifaceted performance venue here in D.C. (Columbia Heights)!

The Dunes
1402 Meridian Place NW
Washington, DC 20010
(7:00pm doors, $10 cover)

Here’s what the band has to say about this album:

Hopeful Paranoia is a snapshot of the young band, meant to convey its own hopes, fears, and restless energy, its own storms and sunshine wrapped up in a bottle.  The EP was produced by Miguel Urbiztondo (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) and engineered by Alan Weatherhead (Hotel Lights) at Sound of Music Studios in Richmond, VA.  The resulting sound takes inspiration from alternative country rompers like Counting Crows and Dawes, as well as the honest acoustic songwriting of William Elliott Whitmore.

This is sure to be a kickass show, not to mention some tasty beverages for the 21+ crowd.

Support local music and local venues!

An interesting discussion will probably be worth comment. I think that you should publish more on this specific topic, may well be a taboo subject but generally people are insufficient to speak in such subjects. To the next. Cheers
